River Middle School is a combination of new construction and renovation of the existing, historic Salvador Union Elementary School. We remodeled two existing classroom buildings, restored a historic classroom building that was the old “schoolhouse” and added two modular classroom buildings, a modular administration building, a library, a multi-purpose building and gymnasium. The modular and custom-constructed buildings were designed so that the campus appears seamless and it all fits perfectly. The 23 classrooms are complemented by a culinary lab as well as a stunning library and an impressive new gymnasium. Additionally, the outdoor spaces include soothing landscaped areas, a track and an expansive play field.
